Yeasha Sobhan

Yeasha Sobhan is the vice chairman of Safwan Bashundhara Global (SBG) and Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd., which stands among the fastest-growing divisions in the group’s portfolio. She has worked to expand the product lines to include a broader range of paper, tissue, and hygiene products. As part of the executive leadership team of Bangladesh’s most prominent business conglomerate, she has become a respected figure in the industry. Yeasha has overcome barriers often faced by women in executive roles and has remained focused on reaching clear business goals. Her leadership has also supported the economy by contributing to domestic growth and helping keep resources within the country. Alongside her role at Safwan Bashundhara Global (SBG), Yeasha has been active in guiding Toggi Real Estate and Construction Limited and The Food Hall. At Toggi, she has overseen the creation of residential and commercial developments that emphasize sustainability and modern design. With The Food Hall, she has established a premium dining brand renowned for its high-quality experiences. She has introduced advanced Effluent Treatment Plants at the paper mills to ensure proper wastewater management and has secured certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 and FSC-CoC. Through careful planning and marketing, she has established well-known brands, including Bashundhara Tissue, Bashundhara Baby Diaper, and Monalisa Sanitary Napkins. She has also supported initiatives, such as the Bashundhara Special Children Foundation, to raise awareness about autism and improve support for children with special needs.
